For years, Refuge Founder Brian Carpenter spent time with pastors, parents, and marketplace leaders across the country. Behind their passion and commitment, he noticed a common reality: many were exhausted. They carried the weight of their churches, organizations, families, and communities, yet few had a place where they could simply be cared for.
That realization became the foundation of Refuge.
